Central demonstration at Muktangon Dhaka. 07 November : • Discussion meeting at Mukti Bhaban, Dhaka on the occasion of the 89th anniversary of ‘Great October Socialist Revolution’, organized by CPB. 08 November • Demonstration at Paltan square, Dhaka organized by Left Democratic Front (LDF) demanding immediate resignation of Chief Election Commissioner and acceptance of 25 point comprehensive electoral reform of LDF for free and fair election. 9 November : • Countrywide demonstrations demanding 53 point demand charter for comprehensive electoral reform, organized by CPB. 10 November : • Public Meeting at Muktangon, Dhaka organized by CPB demanding 53 point demand charter for comprehensive electoral reform and for implementing the slogan of ‘Change Govt.-Change Policy. • ‘Martyr Nur Hosain and Tito Day’ observed by CPB and other mass organization. 11 November : • ‘Betiara Day’ observed by CPB and other mass organization to commemorate the martyrdom of 9 guerilla Comrades in frontal combat with enemy army in 1971 liberation war. • Protest demonstration at Dhaka University campus against the visit of US assistant secretary Richard Boucher organized by Bangladesh Students’ Union (BSU) and Progressive Students’ Alliance. • Demonstration at High Court Gate, protesting Israeli massacre in Palestine and farcical death sentence of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, organized by Palestine- Iraq Solidarity Association. 12-28 November : • Continuous demonstrations all over the country and central demonstrations in Dhaka organized by CPB demanding immediate resignation of Chief Election Commissioner, reshuffle of administration to ensure neutrality and 53 point demand charter for comprehensive electoral reform proposed by CPB. 15 November : • Demonstration & signatures campaign at Paltan square, Dhaka organized by Bangladesh Students’ Union (BSU) demanding immediate resignation of Chief Election Commissioner and comprehensive electoral reform for free and fair election. 17 November : • Demonstration at Paltan square, Dhaka organized by Bangladesh Youth Union (BYU) demanding immediate resignation of Chief Election Commissioner and comprehensive electoral reform for free and fair election. 27 November : • Demonstrations through out the day by CPB at Paltan Square, Dhaka and around the Bangabhaban (Presidential Office) demanding the creation of conditions for free fair election. • Shaheed Dr. Milon Day observed by CPB and mass organizations. 28 November : • March towards Election Commission Office in Dhaka from 4 corners of the city and demonstrations in districts demanding cancellation of conspiratorial election-schedule, removal of 14 million false names from voters list, preparing a new updated voter list, reconstitution of election commission and administration and 53-point electoral reform proposal of CPB. 30 November : • Countrywide demonstrations and mass rallies organized by CPB protesting the attempts to stage ‘farcical elections’ and demanding fundamental transformation in country’s policies and its orientation raising the slogan of ‘Change the Government and Change the Policies”.
